Company Description
Roxas Holdings, Inc. (ROX) was incorporated in 1927 in Nasugbu, Batangas as a sugar milling company and was then known as Central Azucarera Don Pedro, Inc. (CADP). Faced with rising global competition, The Company embarked on an expansion and modernization program in 1994 that enabled it to become an integrated sugar manufacturing corporation with state-of-the-art refinery.

In 2002, the Company commenced a corporate reorganization program to transform itself into a holding and investment corporation. This paved the way for the integration of its sugar businesses under a subsidiary known as CADP Group Corporation. Currently, the Company is engaged in the sugar, tolling/refining, bioethanol, and power businesses.

ROX and its subsidiaries produce raw and refined sugar in different grades; offer tolling or refining services to raw sugar owners; produce fuel ethanol for local oil companies; and generate power through a co-generation project with Global Business Power Corporation, a member of the Metrobank Group. The power to be generated from the co-generation project will be sold initially to the local grid.

ROX has the following principal operating subsidiaries: CADP; Central Azucarera de la Carlota, Inc.; Roxol Bioenergy Corporation; and San Carlos Bioenergy, Inc.
