Background/Description of the Disclosure
This is in reference to Capital Markets Integrity Corporation (“CMIC”)’s correspondence dated today, 9 January 2017, seeking clarification and/or confirmation on an unusual price movement observed by CMIC’s Surveillance Department in the trading of Pacifica, Inc. (“PA”)’s shares. In compliance with your request for clarification, we note that PA is not aware of any undisclosed information that could have triggered the unusual price movement in the trading of its shares, which was observed at 10:37:39 a.m. on 9 January 2017. Please find attached a written statement under oath regarding the information stated herein, in conformity with Article XI-A, Section 5 of the CMIC Rules. We hope to have clarified the matter in the interest of trading participants and investing public.
