This is in connection with the various news reports published yesterday regarding the closure and/or suspension orders issued by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (“DENR”) on several mining companies. In relation thereto, please refer to the attached Final List of Mining Audit Report as of 4:45PM of February 2, 2017 posted on the DENR website, which specified the companies for suspension and closure. The following listed companies have interests in the mining companies cited in the list of the DENR: 1. Benguet Corporation (“BC”) 2. Lepanto Consolidated Mining Company (“LC”) 3. Marcventures Holdings, Inc. (“MARC”) 4. Nickel Asia Corporation (“NIKL”) 5. Oriental Peninsula Resources Group, Inc. (“ORE”) In order to give the investing public sufficient time to digest the foregoing material information, the Exchange will implement a one (1) hour trading halt on the securities of the above-cited listed companies at 9:00AM today, February 3, 2017. Please refer to their respective disclosures posted on the PSE EDGE Portal for the details. The Exchange will apprise the investing public of further developments on the matter.
