Clarification of News Report
We wish to confirm that we expect the Home and Enterprise segments to continue to drive revenue increases for the PLDT group in 2017 as they are anticipated to register double digit growth this year. In addition, we foresee a recovery in the wireless consumer segment as we continue to pursue network superiority and our overarching objective of providing superior customer experience. We wish to clarify, however, that we are currently finalizing our financial statements for 2016 and are scheduled to announce our full year results on 7 March 2017 at which time we can discuss in more detail our outlook for 2017. As reference, the Home and Enterprise segments registered service revenues, net of interconnection costs, of P21.9 billion and P22.5 billion, respectively at the end of September 2016.
