PSPC Signs Contracts for its Phase 2 Expansion Project
Background/Description of the Disclosure
Phoenix Semiconductor Philippines Corp. (PSPC) has officially signed today, March 16, 2017, various additional purchase agreements with Welcron Hantec Co., Ltd. in connection with the implementation of the Company’s Phase 2 expansion program in Clark Freeport Zone (CFZ), Pampanga. Under these agreements, Welcron Hantec Co., Ltd shall supply to PSPC equipment for (1) air handling unit and cooling towers, (2) air compressor equipment, and, (3) switchgear system, with contract prices of $1,755,136, $1,590,000, and $2,496,000, respectively. All these Phase 2 expansion equipment will be shipped from Korea via free on board (FOB) arrangement. Mr. Byeongchun Lee, PSPC President and Chief Executive Officer, signed the contracts, in line with the authority granted to him by the Board of Directors in 2016. Chief Executive Officer Young Kyu Lee signed the contract on behalf of Welcron Hantec Co., Ltd.
