Subject of the Disclosure

Exclusion of PGMC from the updated DENR closure list

Background/Description of the Disclosure

FNI reports that its subsidiary Platinum Group Metals Corporation (PGMC) is no longer one of the companies whose mines are "for suspension" or "for closure" according to a list, accessed as of this time from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) official website, entitled “DENR Status of Mining Operations after the Review of the Mining Audit”. Four companies are for suspension while 22 companies are now for closure. The one-page document cited the source as DENR-Office of the Undersecretary for Legal Affairs. PGMC is not included under either suspension or closure following the link below:

As part of our continuous commitment to delivering high standards of transparency, we have sought clarification from the DENR and we have received confirmation that the document is official.
