Ladies and Gentleman: Please be informed that the Board of Directors of BDO Unibank, Inc. (the “Bank”), at its regular Board meeting held on January 6, 2018: 1. noted the retirement of Ms. Ma. Lourdes T. De Vera, Senior Vice President and Head of Trust and Investments Group\Product and Market Development, effective January 1, 2018; and, 2. approved the hiring of Mr. Roberto Ramon L. Santos as Senior Vice President for Transaction Banking Group, effective February 1, 2018, subject to the confirmation by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas. Mr. Santos has more than twenty-five (25) years experience in the financial industry. He worked with Deutsche Bank, Manila as Head of Global Business Services Change Management (November 2011 – October 2012), Programme Director for Corporate Technology (November 2012 – December 2013), and Head of Corporate Technology (June 2014 – June 2017) before becoming its Head of Technology and Co-Head of Group COO (June 2015 – June 2017). He also worked with Credit Suisse, New York and London occupying various positions from May 1993 to November 2011. Mr. Santos graduated from St. Peter’s College, New Jersey with a degree in Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. Thank you.
