Background/Description of the Disclosure
We advise the Exchange that the Company received from Mr. Roberto C. Amores a letter reply from the Export Development Council (EDC) regarding his letter request of consent to be independent director of FNI. EDC opined that as member of the EDC representing the private sector, Mr. Amores is not considered an official nor employee of government. It concluded that Memorandum Circular 17, Sec 12 Rule XVIII of the Revised Civil Service Rules does not apply to him.
