Reason for requesting extension to submit Annual Report

MBC will not be able to submit its Annual Report or SEC Form 17-A and Sustainability Report within the period prescribed by the SEC Memorandum Circular No. 5, Series of 2021 on May 17, 2021 as the 2020 Audited Financial Statements are still being finalized. Thus, there is not enough time to complete the said reports incorporating the figures and analyses contained in the audited financial statements in time for filing on the 17th of May 2021. MBC undertakes to submit the report on or before May 31, 2021. MBC understands that failure to comply with the undertaking may result to the imposition of applicable penalty/ies and/or sanction/s.

Other Relevant Information
This is to amend the previously submitted SEC Form17-L requesting for an extension from May 17 to May 31, 2021.

The Company undertakes to submit the report within fifteen (15) calendar days after the prescribed deadline or upon submission of the report to the Securities and Exchange Commission, whichever is earlier.
