Background/Description of the Disclosure
Crown Asia Chemicals Corporation (CACC), the only listed PVC Pipe manufacturing company in the Philippines, continues to grow as it ended the period of September 30, 2021 with revenues amounting to Php 1.35B and net tax earnings of Php 202.73M. This is higher against 2020 revenues and profits by 71% and 157%, respectively. This performance Is even better than 2019’s pre-pandemic revenues by 22.57% and net tax earnings by 156.90%. The management from the start of the year has its eyes focused in taking CACC to higher grounds by strengthening its sales force and increasing brand presence, expanding its production capacity, introduction of new product lines, and making sure that all processes and policies are aligned. All of these contributed to the business growth the Company has been experiencing since the 1st quarter of the year. Crown Asia, in July, launched CAC, its new product toilet and bath category as part of the forward integration plans of the Company. These are clean and comfort essential bathroom fixtures and accessories such as toilet bowl, wash basin and shower sets. The target markets are developers, housing and institutional users. This also adds to CACC’s objective to build a stronger brand thru its variety of product offers to complete construction needs. The Company also continues to strengthen its sales workforce to ensure that its presence, through its high-quality products, are felt in more areas in the country from Luzon to Mindanao. Crown pipes has been and is continuously being supplied to major transportation infrastructure projects in the metro and neighboring provinces. This includes Skyway 3 Extensions, Cavitex C5 Link Expressway, North-South Commuter Railway, and MRT 7. All of these projects are geared towards economic progress enabling efficient movements of goods, services and population. The fuel costs and wasted productive times will be reduced.
