Second Amendment of the Revised Concession Agreement dated March 31, 2021
Background/Description of the Disclosure
We refer to the Revised Concession Agreement ("RCA") dated March 31, 2021 (subject of our disclosure on April 1, 2021), and the Amendment of the RCA dated September 30, 2021 (subject of our disclosure on October 1, 2021). The September 30, 2021 Amendment moved back to November 18, 2021 the period when the RCA will become effective, to allow the Parties to complete the remaining conditions for effectivity of the RCA. We wish to disclose that Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System ("MWSS") and Manila Water Company Inc. ("MWC") have signed a Second Amendment of the RCA to further extend up to December 18, 2021 the period for the start of effectivity of the RCA, to allow the Parties additional time to complete the remaining conditions to the effectivity of the RCA.
