Background/Description of the Disclosure

Pursuant to PPC's buy-back program approved / extended by its Board on November 27, 2020, PPC purchased from the open market today, January 10, 2022, a total of 23,700 common shares amounting to Php 132,720.00. (Note: The appropriation of Php 500 Million under the 1st buyback program was fully expended on October 5, 2021. Under the resolution approved by the board on November 27, 2020, there shall be a continuation of the buyback program (2nd buyback program) with a similar appropriation of Php 500 million, good for one yeer, after the first Php 500-million appropriation is used up in the 1st buyback program.)
