Subject of the Disclosure

Update on start of operations of MB Siphon Vessel I

Background/Description of the Disclosure

As disclosed by the Company on May 6, 2022, the MB Siphon 1, the vessel bought by the Company with the proceeds of its follow-on-offering, is already at the mine site. However, certain repairs had to be made for the vessel to become operational following the incident involving the storm Meji (where water entered the pump and caused a short circuit in the breaker).

The Company is pleased to announce that it has started receiving some of the spare parts needed for the vessel to be operational, namely the impeller and shafts for the pump. However, due to the extended lockdowns in China, from where the parts are sourced, some of the necessary parts have yet to arrive. The latest indication that the Company has received is that it will take two more weeks before the other spare parts arrive in the country. Once the parts have arrived, testing and calibration need to be done before operations can commence.

Disclosures will be made at the proper time and as soon as there are updates on the matter.
