Appointment of Atty. Maria Sofia Abrera Lopez as Senior Legal and Compliance Officer with corporate rank of Assistant Vice President. Atty. Lopez, 55 years old, Filipino, is a CPA and a Senior Legal and Compliance Officer, with the corporate rank of Assistant Vice President, of the Legal & Compliance Department of GT Capital Holdings, Inc. (“GT Capital”). Prior to joining the Corporation, she was a legal counsel at the Metropolitan Bank & Trust Company (“Metrobank”) since August 2005. At Metrobank, she concurrently held the following positions: legal counsel at the Office of General Counsel, and Assistant Corporate Secretary of Manila Medical Services, Inc. and Manila Tytana Colleges, Inc. She was also the Assistant Corporate Secretary of Metrobank Card Corporation from 2013-2019. Prior to joining Metrobank, she was a legal officer at Stateland, Inc. and an Associate Attorney at Acosta and Corvera Law Offices. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, majoring in Accountancy at the University of the East (Manila), and finished her Bachelor of Laws at the San Beda College (Mendiola).
