Please be advised that the Board of Directors of Metropolitan Bank & Trust Company at its Regular Meeting held today, September 17, 2025 approved the appointment of Ms. Maricel L. Madrid, with the rank of First Vice President as Controller. Ms. Madrid has been appointed as the new Controller of Metrobank. Ms. Madrid has been with the Bank for more than 2 years as the Bank’s Deputy Head of Controllership Group. She brings 20 years of solid experience in audit and banking industries, with focus on accounting, audit, risk management, financial control and IT support.
