Ladies and Gentlemen: Please be informed that the Board of Directors of BDO Unibank, Inc. (the “Bank”), at its regular meeting held on September 27, 2025, approved the hiring of MR. RENE MORTA as Senior Vice President (SVP) for IT Initiatives under the Office of the President, effective October 16, 2025. Mr. Morta has over twenty-five (25) years of experience in the banking industry, with a strong focus on IT strategic leadership. He serves as Managing Director for Growth Markets, Transformation Head, Chief Information Officer of Accenture Technology Center Philippines, and Lead for Asset and Automation, and Solution Architecture at Accenture, Inc. (Philippines) since September 2022 to present. His previous roles include: Vice President (VP), Philippines Site Leader (June 2020 - August 2022) at Open Text (Philippines), Inc.; SVP and Head for Technology (July 2013 - September 2019) at Citibank N.A.
