Clarification of News Report

We write with respect to PSE's request for clarification regarding the news article posted in Bilyonaryo.com on December 08, 2025, entitled, “Begin again? Lopez ramps up talks with Villar on ABS-CBN’s potential ‘homecoming’ to AllTV amid messy breakup with MVP’s TV5” it was reported in part that:

“. . . .

Babbler revealed that ABS-CBN is in talks with AllTV of ultra bilyonaryo Manny Villar for a possible content collaboration following the termination of its deal with TV5 of telecom and infrastructure tycoon Manny V. Pangilinan by the end of the year.

. . . .

Life has indeed come full circle for ABS-CBN as it stands on the verge of returning to its old Channel 2 frequency, now weaker after the sale of its main transmission facilities and towers, which it lost when its franchise was denied by a vindictive President Rodrigo Duterte five years ago. ‘It shows when one door closes another opens,’ Babbler said.

Kapamilya fans have been on edge since TV5 recently issued a termination letter to ABS-CBN, first reported by Bilyonaryo, over the network’s alleged failure to remit TV5’s share of revenues from ABS-CBN shows like “Batang Quiapo” and “ASAP.”

. . . .

If the AllTV deal pushes through, ABS-CBN’s flagship programs will once again beam out of Channel 2, completing a full-circle comeback for the Lopez network from shutdown pariah to reclaimed presence on its old TV address.”

ABS-CBN Corporation wishes to clarify the following:

ABS-CBN has an existing content supply partnership with AllTV which commenced on May 13, 2024. This partnership remains in effect.
