Standard Rates Table for Charging Year 2025 and Foreign Currency Differential Adjustment (FCDA)

Background/Description of the Disclosure

Please be informed that Manila Water Company, Inc. received today, December 15, 2025, the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System’s (MWSS) approval of the following, effective January 1, 2026:

a. the Company’s Standard Rates Table for Charging Year 2026;
b. the adjustment of the Environmental Charge from 25% to 30%; and
c. the implementation of an FCDA of 0.70% of the 2026 Average Basic Charge of PHP50.70 per cubic meter or PH₱0.35 per cubic meter, for the first quarter of 2026.

As provided in the Amended Revised Concession Agreement (RCA), the FCDA is a pass-through charge to account for foreign exchange losses or gains arising from the Company’s payment of specific concession loans identified in the Amended RCA. The FCDA has no impact on the projected net income of the Company.

The rates, as approved by the MWSS shall be effective fifteen (15) days after publication in a newspaper of general circulation, pursuant to the MWSS Charter.
