Ms. Maria Gay D. Advincula has over 20 years of experience in information security, data privacy, operational risk, and fraud risk management and serves as the common Data Protection Officer for other JGS business units, namely Go Global Business Services, Inc. (GGBS), Gokongwei Brothers Foundation, Inc. (GBF), JG Digital Equity Ventures, Inc. (JGDEV), JG Summit Olefins Corporation (JGSOC), Universal Robina Corporation (URC), and Nissin Universal Robina Corporation (NURC). Prior to her appointment, she held leadership positions at East West Banking Corporation, Bank of the Philippine Islands, and Robinsons Bank Corporation. She holds a Master in Cybersecurity with high distinction from the Asian Institute of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Commerce major in Management Accounting from the University of St. La Salle. She is a Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE) and an NPC-certified Data Protection Officer (DPO-ACE1).
