SN Aboitiz Power-Benguet, Inc. (SNAP Benguet) penalty imposed by the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) for its non-compliance with reportorial requirements under ERC Resolution No. 4, Series of 2015.
Background/Description of the Disclosure
Aboitiz Power Corporation (the “Company”) was informed today by SN Aboitiz Power-Benguet, Inc. (SNAP Benguet) that it received a Statement of Account dated January 12, 2026 from the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) for a penalty in the aggregate amount of PhP300,000. The penalty relates to the ERC’s finding of SNAP Benguet’s non-compliance with reportorial requirements under ERC Resolution No. 4, Series of 2015. SNAP Benguet intends to settle the assessed penalty in a timely manner. Further, it has implemented various system and process improvements to prevent similar non-compliances in the future. SNAP Benguet is a joint venture company of Aboitiz Renewables, Inc. (ARI) with SN Power Philippines Inc. (through Manila-Oslo Renewable Enterprise, Inc.). ARI represents the Company’s investments and interests in various renewable energy projects.
