Please be informed that the Board of Directors of East West Banking Corporation (“the Bank”), in its regular meeting today, January 29, 2026 approved the following: a. Appointment of Ms. Grace N. Ang as Head of Strategic Finance with the rank Senior Vice President, effective February 16, 2026. b. Appointment of Mr. John Jerrick D. Juinio as Chief Risk Officer with the rank of Executive Vice President, effective February 16, 2026, in succession to Ms. Grace N. Ang. Mr. Juinio has over two decades of experience leading risk management, credit optimization, and digital transformation initiatives in the banking sector. Most recently, he served as Regional Credit Risk Officer at HSBC Hong Kong, where he oversaw priority markets including Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, China, and India. He previously served as Chief Risk Officer at ANZ Bank and later at ING Philippines, supporting the latter’s retail business. He holds a double degree in Applied Economics and Management of Financial Institutions (1991) and a Master of Business Administration (1994) from De La Salle University.
