Please be informed that, as part of its ongoing business transformation efforts, SPAVI is streamlining its leadership structure to strengthen execution and consolidate leadership in key business units and functions, in support of the Group’s growth agenda moving forward. In line with this, Mr. Edwin Raymond C. Africa has been appointed as SPAVI Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective 1 October 2026. He will be in charge of the consolidated Potato Corner business, covering both international and domestic markets, as well as multiple corporate functions. He will report to SPAVI President and Chief Executive Officer, Vicente Gregorio. Mr. Africa was formerly the Executive Vice President, Corporate General Manager, and Group Business Unit Head of Century Pacific Food, Inc. (PSE:CNPF). During his 11-year tenure, he was in charge of key business units, innovation, and corporate functions. Prior to his role in CNPF, Mr. Africa had over 22 years of experience in various general management, marketing, and brand management roles at Procter & Gamble, Nippon Paint, and PepsiCo, both in the Philippines and in various Asian countries. Mr. Yiow L. Tan, who is currently in charge of SPAVI’s international business, will report to Mr. Africa and continue to serve in his current role until 31 December 2026, after which the role will be dissolved as part of the organizational restructuring. We would also like to inform the Exchange that, effective 30 October 2026, Mr. Roy Marvin E. Quejada, Chief Operating Officer and Business Unit Head of Potato Corner, will be reassigned to lead Peri-Peri Charcoal Chicken and Sauce Bar, as Mr. Dino T. Francisco, the incumbent Peri-Peri General Manager, transitions from his role in SPAVI to pursue another opportunity.
