Subject of the Disclosure

The Philex National Mines and Allied Workers Union (NAMAWU) submitted the results of its strike vote referendum with the Department of Labor and Employment - National Conciliation and Mediation Board- Cordillera Administrative Region, voting yes to go on strike on the alleged ground of bargaining deadlock.

Background/Description of the Disclosure

Today, the Philex National Mines and Allied Workers Union (NAMAWU) submitted the results of its strike vote referendum with the Department of Labor and Employment - National Conciliation and Mediation Board- Cordillera Administrative Region, voting yes to go on strike on the alleged ground of bargaining deadlock. NAMAWU had earlier voted on September 22, 2026 to reject the Company’s improved offer in connection with the negotiation of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
If the strike will proceed, it may lead to reduced operating capacity.
