Corporate Disclosure on Key Officer

Background/Description of the Disclosure

We disclose that after 12 years, Mr. Anton Reynaldo M. Bonifacio, our Chief Intelligence & Trust Officer (CITO), has decided to step down from his post and away from corporate life, with effect from January 1, 2027.

Mr. Bonifacio joined Globe when cybersecurity was already increasingly critical to the business and, under his leadership as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), Globe built a distinctive, converged cybersecurity and privacy organization protecting both our telecommunications infrastructure and our growing portfolio of digital businesses. Mr. Bonifacio helped strengthen Globe’s ability to anticipate emerging threats, safeguard information, and uphold customer and partner confidence – embedding the belief that security and trust are not simply technology responsibilities but fundamental to how Globe would serve customers and conduct business. In 2024, Mr. Bonifacio was appointed Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer (CAIO), a first for Globe and one of the country’s earliest enterprise leaders to hold this role. As CAIO, Mr. Bonifacio brought greater focus and coherence to Globe’s AI ambition by connecting strategy, architecture, platforms, enablement, business adoption, and responsible governance. Last July 2026, Mr. Bonifacio assumed the expanded role of Chief Intelligence & Trust Officer (CITO). CITO role brought AI, data, cybersecurity, privacy, and digital policy under more integrated leadership, embodying Mr. Bonifacio’s advocacy that intelligence and innovation must always advance alongside security, accountability, and trust.

Mr. Bonifacio represented Globe in important conversations with technology and telecommunications leaders, both here and in the global space, bringing a perspective that is technically rigorous, deeply practical, but always distinctly human. Globe has been established not only as an adopter of emerging technology, but also a credible voice in shaping how technology can be deployed responsibly and at scale. Beyond these achievements, however, Mr. Bonifacio’s enduring legacy lives in the people he developed, the teams he empowered, and those he encouraged to question assumptions and imagine what might be possible. Mr. Bonifacio created space for people to experiment, learn, and lead, challenging Globe to look further ahead while never losing sight of Globe’s people and customers.

We are grateful for Mr. Bonifacio’s courage and foresight, and for taking the helm of Globe’s journey into cybersecurity, information security, and the then-unknown field of AI. Mr. Bonifacio guided our employees not only into using these technologies to benefit the organization and their personal lives, but to thrive alongside their evolution with proper safeguards.

As Mr. Bonifacio transitions, AI, data, cybersecurity, privacy, and digital trust will remain central to Globe’s transformation and long-term growth. Mr. Garrett Silao will thus serve as Officer-in-Charge starting January 1, 2027, reporting directly to Globe’s President and Chief Executive Officer.

We submit this information in accordance with our corporate governance standards and pertinent disclosure rules and regulations.

Thank you very much.
