Background/Description of the Disclosure
With regard to the current labor dispute, representatives of Philex Mining Corporation (“Philex” or “the Company”) and the Philex Padcal Rank-and-File Union, the National Mines and Allied Workers Union (NAMAWU Local 101) met today, October 14, 2026, in a conciliation-mediation conference at the National Conciliation and Mediation Board, Cordillera Autonomous Region (NCMB-CAR), where both parties successfully concluded and executed their Settlement Agreement.
The Settlement Agreement provided that both the Company and the Union mutually agree to settle amicably for the conclusion of their Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) covering the period 02 January 2025 to 01 January 2030.
