DOE Grants Certificate of Authority to Subsidiary Raslag Liwayway, Inc.
Background/Description of the Disclosure
Please be informed that ASLAG’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Raslag Liwayway, Inc. (“RLI”), has been granted by the Department of Energy a Certificate of Authority (“COA”) as the exclusive “Solar Energy Developer of the Raslag Liwayway Solar Power Plant with Battery Energy Storage System” located in Sta. Rosa, Nueva Ecija. The COA exclusively authorizes RLI to procure the necessary permits or certifications needed for the exploration, development, and utilization of the solar energy resources within the designated area, and conduct reconnaissance and other activities needed for feasibility studies as indicated in the approved work program. The COA has a one (1) year validity period from its date of issuance, after which, subject to compliance with the requirements of the Department of Energy, would qualify RLI to execute the Solar Energy Operating Contract.
