DigiPlus Interactive Corp. (DigiPlus), the Philippines’ premier digital entertainment provider behind BingoPlus, ArenaPlus, and GameZone, reported a net income of ₱8.9 billion in the first nine months of 2026, inclusive of fair value gains from International Entertainment Corporation’s (IEC) convertible bonds, as improved cost efficiency more than offset lower revenues amid a weaker macroeconomic environment.
Nine-month EBITDA amounted to ₱8.3 billion. Third quarter EBITDA edged up 0.3 percent quarter-on-quarter to ₱2.9 billion, while EBITDA margin expanded four percentage points to 22 percent. The margin improvement reflected more effective deployment of advertising and promotional spending, optimization of direct gaming costs, and tighter control of operating expenses.
For the first nine months, net gaming revenue (NGR) after tax decreased 17 percent year-on-year to ₱16.2 billion. NGR after-tax margin, measured against GGR, expanded five percentage points quarter-on-quarter to 40 percent.
DigiPlus began reporting NGR after tax in the second quarter. The metric deducts PAGCOR’s regulatory share and fees, game provider fees, marketing and promotional expenses, payment channel fees, other direct gaming costs, and applicable taxes from gaming revenues. NGR after tax provides a clearer measure of the revenue retained after direct gaming costs and taxes, complementing GGR as an indicator of operating performance.
In the first nine months of the year, DigiPlus paid ₱13.9 billion in taxes and regulatory fees, contributing to government revenues that support public services, infrastructure, and national development.
Average monthly active users (MAU) increased 3% quarter-on-quarter to 5.9 million, while monthly active bettors and depositors (MABD) rose 5% to 4.9 million.
DigiPlus ended the third quarter with ₱11.7 billion in cash and cash equivalents, up 11 percent from the previous quarter, and DigiPlus maintains a compelling dividend policy. It continued to strengthen its balance sheet after paying ₱3.8 billion in dividends and investing ₱12.2 billion in IEC’s convertible notes in the first half of the year. This financial position supports DigiPlus’ ability to fund growth initiatives including but not limited to overseas markets, acquisitions, technology, and product development while maintaining financial discipline. The IEC investment year to date has resulted in a non-cash investment gain.
“Our first nine months performance reflects the progress we are making in strengthening operating efficiency while building our user base and concent” said DigiPlus President Ping Chen. “We remain focused on sustainable growth through self-development of compelling content, stronger user acquisitions and retention, and disciplined spending on A&P and investments. Our average monthly active bettor and depositor (MABD) continues to grow and our user retention cohort continues to improve” Advancing content localization, player experience, and corporate excellence In recent months, DigiPlus continued to expand its digital entertainment portfolio and strengthen its localized content offerings. Through a partnership with Regal Entertainment, DigiPlus also brought the iconic Shake, Rattle & Roll film franchise to iGaming, launching five new titles on BingoPlus — Manananggal, Reyna Ahas, Triple Terror, LRT Monster, and Aswang — with ArenaPlus and GameZone to follow. Additionally, DigiPlus introduced nine new self-developed games across its platforms, including live games such as Bingo Speed and Live Mines, and specialty random number generator (RNG) games Beto Beto and Pinoy Drop Ball International.
