Background/Description of the Disclosure
MJC Investments Corporation held the grand opening of Winford Hotel & Casino, the Corporation’s hotel and entertainment project located within the San Lazaro Tourism and Business Park in Sta. Cruz, Manila, at 11:38 a.m. today, April 21, 2017. A ribbon-cutting ceremony, led by Atty. Alfonso R. Reyno, Jr, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Corporation; together with Ombudsman Conchita C. Carpio-Morales; Manila City Mayor Joseph Ejercito Estrada; Presidential Legal Counsel Salvador Panelo; Ms. Andrea D. Domingo, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR); Department of Tourism Undersecretary Falconi Millar; and other officers of the Corporation, was held to mark the occasion. In addition, a lion dance parade and lion-eye dotting ceremony were performed to celebrate the grand opening of Winford Hotel & Casino. The Winford Hotel & Casino is a five-star hotel with a Casino in the heart of Metro Manila in Greater Chinatown. The Hotel consists of 128 internationally designed deluxe hotel rooms with a grand ballroom, swimming pool, gym and spa, coffee shop and dining area, retail outlets, and a seven-level parking structure, among other amenities and services. The Casino is a three-level entertainment and gaming area with a capacity of 600 slot machines and 110 gaming tables.
