The treasury shares were sold by way of a block sale through the facilities of the Exchange at an agreed price of P6.50 per share. The price represents a premium of 2.85% from its last traded price of P6.32 as of the close of trading on June 22, 2017 and 2.05% premium over the 5-day volume weighted average price (VWAP) of P 6.3696 from June 21, 2017. The sale of treasury shares resulted in some gain to the Company. The proceeds from the sale will be used for general corporate purposes and capital expenditures.
