Background/Description of the Disclosure
The Company announces the retirement of Ms. Teresita H. Vasay as Treasurer effective September 20, 2019. Further, the Company announces the appointment of Ms. Teodora N. Santiago as new Treasurer of Oriental Petroleum and Minerals Corporation effective September 20, 2019. Ms. Santiago is also the Finance Manager under Corporate Finance of JG Summit Holdings, Inc. (JGSHI) and has been with JGSHI since 2005. She is responsible in the execution, monitoring and control of offshore short-term loan borrowings. Further, she manages and controls placements of foreign-currency denominated onshore and offshore funds, documents credit facilities and reviews long term loan agreements with local banks. Prior to joining JGSHI, she worked with Astoria Group, Del Monte Fresh Produce Philippines, Inc., Akerlund and Rausing Phils. Inc. to name a few. She graduated from University of Santo Tomas with a degree in Bachelor of Science Major in Accountancy.
