Reply to the Exchange's correspondence dated 28 October 2019, seeking clarification on the news article entitled: "PT&T inks partnership with US-based IT service provider”

“MANILA, Philippines — Telecommunications company Philippine Telegraph and Telephone Corp. (PT&T) has forged a strategic partnership with a global IT service provider to expand its enterprise solutions offering.

PT&T and US-based firm Virtalus announced a new partnership to deliver public and private cloud solutions for the Philippine market.

‘Our partnership with Virtalus enables PT&T to launch value for money cloud services to empower more businesses,’ PT&T president and CEO James Velasquez said.

‘By partnering with an established global IT service provider, this is yet another milestone for PT&T in innovating our services for our customers. We can expect more key initiatives such as this as we venture further in the IT space,’ Velasquez said.

The partnership will allow the two companies to offer public and private cloud solutions to PT&T’s enterprise clients in the country powered by Virtalus.

REPLY: PTT confirms its partnership with Virtalus to provide public and private cloud solutions for the Philippine market. PTT likewise confirms its partnerships with 5GS Security Inc. and Paynamics. These partnerships will enable PTT to provide secure and efficient digital services to various industries in the Philippine market.
