Background/Description of the Disclosure
Pursuant to the Securities and Exchange Commission’s notice to publicly listed companies to apprise the investing public of the risks and impact of COVID-19 on their business operations, Shakey’s Pizza Asia Ventures Inc (PIZZA) hereby discloses as follows: • The Company currently does not expect material adverse impact on its business operations o Majority of our stores remain operational, except for a few dine-in outlets affected by the closure of certain Metro Manila malls o Off-premise channels, including in-house and third party delivery and carryout remain operational o The Company has also put in place Business Continuity plans and procedures with respect to the operations of our stores, our commissary, and our head office • Several measures are likewise in place to ensure safety in-store and in our offices, including: o intensified and increased frequency of the disinfection and cleaning of store premises; proper quality check of all food items o strict monitoring of all store staff to ensure they are of prime health o flexible work-from-home arrangement for non-critical employees o prohibition of mass gatherings and social distancing measures within office premises
