PCC Resolves to Take No Further Action on Proposed Purchase of Shares in Toyota Santa Rosa, Laguna, Inc.
Background/Description of the Disclosure
On October 08, 2020, the Philippine Competition Commission resolved to take no further action with respect to the proposed purchase by GT Capital Auto Dealership Holdings, Inc. ("GTCAD"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of GT Capital, and Toyota Corolla Sapporo Philippines Holdings, Inc. ("TCSPHI"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Toyota Corolla Sapporo Corporation, Ltd. (Japan), of Toyota Motor Philippines Corporation's one hundred percent (100%) stake in Toyota Santa Rosa, Laguna, Inc. ("TSR"). Following the transaction, TSR shall be sixty percent (60%) owned by GTCAD and forty percent (40%) owned by TCSPHI. GTCAD received a copy of the Decision on October 9, 2020.
