Retirement of Mr. Nelson M. Bona as Executive Vice President, Treasurer and Chief Finance Officer (CFO) of Filinvest Development Corporation. Appointment of Ms. Elsie D. Paras as the new CFO and Treasurer of FDC.
Background/Description of the Disclosure
Please be advised that Mr. Nelson M. Bona retired as Executive Vice President, Treasurer and Chief Finance Officer (CFO) of Filinvest Development Corporation (“FDC”) on 31 May 2021. Effective today, 01 June 2021, Ms. Elsie D. Paras will serve as FDC’s new CFO and Treasurer. Prior to joining FDC, Ms. Paras, 48, Filipino, served as GT Capital’s Deputy CFO and Vice President for Corporate Finance and Business Development for over six years. She also served as Finance Manager and Deputy Chief Finance Officer of SIA Engineering Philippines, a joint venture of Cebu Air, Inc. and SIA Engineering Company of the Singapore Airlines Group. She was a Manager for Strategic Consulting for Jones Lang La Salle Middle East and North Africa in Dubai. Previously, she worked as Business Development Manager for Commercial Centers at Robinsons Land Corporation and Project Development Manager at Ayala Land, Inc. She has a Master's degree in Business Management (MBM), major in Finance, from the Asian Institute of Management in 2001 and she also participated in the International Exchange Student Program of HEC School of Management in France. She graduated with honors from the University of the Philippines with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Economics.
