Dito Telecommunity Corporatiojn ("Dito Tel") passes the technical audit conducted by the National Telecommunications Commission for Year 2
Background/Description of the Disclosure
Dito CME Holdings Corp. ("Dito CME") was informed by its subsidiary, Dito Tel, that it received notice from the National Telecommunications Commission ("NTC") that Dito Tel passed the technical audit for its commitments with the NTC, i.e. National Population Coverage and Minimum Average Broadband Speed for the Second Year. The NTC, quoting the findings of its independent auditor, stated as follows: "1. With respect to item (a), the calculated National Population Coverage (percentage) is 52.75%; and 2. With respect to item (b), the Minimum Average Broadband Speeds (Mbps) delivered are 89.13 Mbps and 853.96 Mbps for all 4G and 5G sites, respectively..." Note that as part of the issuance of its Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity in July 2019, Dito Tel committed to deliver National Population Coverage of 51.01% and Minimum Average Broadband Speed of 55 Mbps in the Second Year of its Commitment Period.
