Clarification of News Report
We refer to the letter of the PSE, asking us to clarify the notice published in the October 6, 2021 issue of the Philippine Daily Inquirer. The notice stated the following: “The public is hereby notified that Mr. Joseph Chua has no authority to represent Dr. Lucio C. Tan, the Tan Family, and Lucio Tan Group of Companies. Any prior authority or representation given to Mr. Joseph Chua are deemed void and/or revoked.” A special board meeting will be called the soonest possible time for MacroAsia Corporation. All issues will be addressed then, and appropriate disclosures will be made immediately thereafter.
