| Puregold Price Club, Inc. (PGOLD) was incorporated on September 8, 1998 as a company involved in the business of trading goods such as consumer products on a wholesale and retail basis. The Company conducts its operations through various retail formats and store brands. Hypermarkets offer a variety of food and non-food products and cater to both retail customers and resellers such as members of the Company's loyalty program, "Tindahan ni Aling Puring". Supermarkets are mainly found in residential areas and focus more on food and fresh products as well as some general merchandise. Minimarts are the smallest store format and are designed for quick and convenient access for communities. Meanwhile, S&R Membership Shopping adopts a warehouse club concept where most of the products offered are in club packs. The majority of the merchandise are imported brands mostly sourced from the US. Among others, PGOLD also owns Entenso Equities, Inc., which is the holding company for Ayagold Retailers, Inc. and San Roque Supermarkets. PPCI Subic, Inc. operates one Puregold branch in Subic Bay Economic Zone, Olongapo City. In 2018, PGOLD incorporated Purepadala, Inc. to operate the remittance service within the Company's network and platform. By the end of 2025, PGOLD was operating a total of 680 Puregold stores, 33 S&R Membership Shopping Warehouses, 71 S&R New York Style Pizza outlets, 35 San Roque Supermarkets, and 3 Merkado Supermarkets, for a total of 822 retail stores nationwide.
